Sensor Platform

Aryballe’s Core Sensor Module (CSM) is a universal, solid-state odor sensor that is sensitive to thousands of odors that can also be integrated into customers’ electrical, mechanical, and fluidic architecture.

The Core Sensor Module relies on 64 Mach-Zehnder interferometers (MZI) functionalized with Aryballe’s proprietary peptide biosensors to detect volatile organic compounds (VOCs) responsible for odors. The diverse nature of these peptides enable detection of a broad range of odors and chemical families, making it suitable for industrial sectors ranging from mobility and automotive to industrial to home appliances or consumer electronics.
